Bandanna and horse shoe cake

This was another cake for Mercy Stables. This little girl wanted the bandanna but loves horses. We decided to go with horse shoes on the bottom with a horse topper. She was very pleased. This is white cake with traditional butter cream and hand drawn accents.

30th birthday cake

This was for a 30th birthday of a friend's co-worker. I decided to follow along with some plates I had seen at the party store I thought were cute. This was white cake with traditional butter cream and fondant accents.

Baby shower cake

I was lucky enough to get to do two shower cakes for the same person. They both used the colors of the nursery so I wanted them to be similar but not too much so. I loved how this one turned out, too. Simple but elegant. This is white cake with traditional butter cream and fondant and ribbon accents.

Whimsical 30th birthday cake

This was another last minute work in and I am glad I am able to that every now and then. This was for a surprise 30th birthday cake. The wife was decorating in all things 30 and a lot her items had question marks so she chose to do mainly those. She didn't want it black but bright, festive, and whimsical. This was the end result. This was white cake with traditional butter cream with butter cream, and fondant accents.

Little Red Wagon Cake

This little red wagon cake was for a first birthday. It is white cake with traditional butter cream and fondant accents. The smash cake is butter cream with fondant accents, as well.

Hawaiian baby shower

This was for a Hawaiian themed baby boy shower. The hostess wanted to use the rubber duckies and I thought they looked a little lonely all by themselves on the cake. So, I added some hibiscus flowers and a little writing and it did the trick. This was a chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream.

Bees and flowers cupcake toppers

I received a request for some fondant cupcake toppers for a garden party. The mother wanted bumble bees and flowers that matched her invitations, which she makes! She does fabulous work and she did both of my boys invites for their parties this year. Check out her site, Tula Designs.

Hello Kitty cake

For this cake the mother asked for a Hello Kitty cake to match the invitiations and party supplies. This is white cake and traditional butter cream with fondant accents.

Baby shower cake

This shower cake was for my sister's co-worker. They themed the decorations around the baby's nursery and bedding. This cake was white with traditional butter cream with fondant and ribbon accents.

Scooby Doo cake

My oldest son wanted Scooby Doo for his cake this year. His favorite episode is Foul Play in Fun Land so I themed it after that episode where they are the amusements park. I was super busy with all my other orders and thankfully my little sister came and helped me with his cake. She made the robot for the top who is the ghost in the episode. She wasn't too happy with her handy work but I think she did a great job for her first fondant character. The cake was red velvet with cream cheese for the top tier (the birthday boy's favorite cake) and white cake with traditional butter cream on the bottom. The accents were hand drawn and fondant.

Bandana and cow print cake

This was another cake for Mercy Stables. The mother wanted a little more grown up cowgirl cake so we went with the bandana and cow prints with a few daisies for accents. This is white cake with traditional butter cream and fondant accents.

40th birthday golf cake

This was for a friend's husband's 40th birthday. He is a big golfer so of course he had to have the giant golf ball on the green. This cake it red velvet on the bottom and the ball is yellow. It is all cream cheese icing complete with his nickname of the golf ball. The birthday boy loved it.

When my Mommy Grace called and asked if I could make a cake for her grandson's first birthday on short notice, I couldn't turn her down. A friend asked for a cake for her mother's 60th birthday. She was decorating with sunflowers so that's what we went with. This is chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream and butter cream sunflowers. It was my first attempt and I thought they were super cute. I am partial to them though!

Luau cake

This was for a friend's daughter's second birthday. The party was a luau themed and the mom wanted simple and cute with the hibiscus flowers. The cake is white cake with traditional butter cream with fondant and silk floral accents. Happy Birthday Miss Lucy!

This was for a friend's mother's birthday. This customer has tried almost ever flavor of cake I make. She orders a different one every time. :) This one is red velvet with cream cheese frosting and butter cream roses.

Butterflies and flowers spring time cake

This was for a 5 year old's swim party. The mom just asked for it to be girly, summery, and wanted butterflies. I have to say I loved this one and think it turned out beautiful. Her little brother got into on the way home and ate some off the back. Boys will be boys!
