Princess castle cake
A dear friend of mine, asked me to make her little girl a princess castle cake for her princess themed birthday party. She had decided to do the Disney castle version but changed and went with the Wilton version instead. This cake too way longer than I ever anticipated. The cake itself wasn't hard to make all the details just too a long time to do. Anyway, this is white cake with butter cream icing and some fondant accents. The cupcake were white cake with pink butter cream. I had to do some "surgery" the day of the party, but it survived and turned out fine. I will be writing Wilton about this product. It could be made a lot more user friendly. Oh well, the birthday girl was happy and that's all that matters!

Hot pink zebras
A friend asked me to make her little girl's 2nd birthday cake. She themed the party around the, zebra striped dress, hot pink shirt, and tights with zebra and hot pink hearts, outfit she bought for her little one. I instantly had this one in my head and couldn't wait to put it in cake form. Love these girlie cakes! Butter cream with fondant accents.

Batman cake
A friend of mine asked me to make a her son't 5th birthday cake. He is crazy about batman so we chose to go simple with the batman symbol. She brought several little batman characters and placed them around the cake for the party. It was per cute! Happy 5th Birthday Alex! Thanks for the super fun karate party!

John Deere Cake
A good friend asked me to take a cake for her husband's 30th birthday. They have some cows and do a little farming so we went with a John Deere tractor. This isn't his exact tractor but it's close. I am sure this one will be asked for again!

Anniversary reproduction
I received and email from a lady asking me to make a cake for her and her husband's second anniversary. She sent me a couple of pics of her wedding cake and asked if I could make one like it. I did for the most part but changed the flowers just a little on the top because in all honest I really don't enjoy making royal icing flowers and she didn't care what was on it. Yes, even I take the easy way out sometime and it looked cute anyway!
This was her wedding cake.
